ADB will provide 150 million US dollars to reform the banking sector in Bangladesh

Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide 1.5 billion US dollars to reform the banking sector of Bangladesh. Another 400 million dollars will be received by next December as budget support.
This was confirmed by ADB’s country director in a meeting with finance advisers on Sunday.
At the end of the meeting, financial adviser. Salehuddin Ahmed told reporters that today’s meeting discussed financial sector, revenue sector reforms. ADB is the second largest in Bangladesh
financing company. They have assured support in the short and long term. The organization will give 400 million dollars next December as budget support for raising LDC.
