US President Joe Biden has said that the entire Arab world, including Saudi Arabia, is ready to recognize Israel for the first time. He made this comment at an election fundraising event in New York, USA.
According to CNN news, two former presidents elected from the Democratic Party, Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, were present in this fundraising campaign of Biden. From this campaign, Biden also spoke about a two-state solution to end the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
US President Joe Biden said, I don’t want to give details right now. But you see, we are working with other Arab countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan. They are ready to fully recognize Israel. They have made this preparation for the first time.
Biden said this at a time when Israel continues to attack Gaza indiscriminately. So far, more than 32,500 people have been killed and 76,000 injured in Israeli attacks. In addition, Saudi Arabia said a few days ago, Saudi Arabia will not recognize Israel if the Israeli attack on Gaza is not stopped and the Palestinian state is not established according to the 1967 borders.
The event took place at the famous Radio City Music Hall in New York. Thousands of guests attended the event. According to news agency Reuters, Biden faced obstacles due to the protest of some of the guests present in the large auditorium. At various points in the discussion, they protested Biden’s support for the Israeli operation in Gaza. “Joe Biden, you should be ashamed,” shouted one of the protesters at the event.
