China calls on the United Nations to stop tensions in the Middle East

Recently, Hezbollah and Iran have been involved in a war with Israel over the Palestinian issue. Many people are being killed in counter-attacks one after another. The tension that is spreading throughout the Middle East. China has called on the UN Security Council to reduce tensions in the Middle East by expressing concern over this situation.

China has expressed concern over the situation in the Middle East after Israel launched new airstrikes in Lebanon. They urged the UN Security Council to take urgent action to control the ongoing situation.

China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Fu Kong, said during a Security Council briefing on Wednesday that the United Nations needs to make clear and firm demands to end the cycle of violence in the Israel-Lebanon conflict.

Fu Kong also said, “The Security Council bears primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security.” Therefore, all parties involved in this matter must return to the path of political and diplomatic solutions.
