China’s military exercises around Taiwan again

Chinese warplanes and warships have resumed military exercises around Taiwan. Taiwan claims that this exercise is Chinese provocation.

China started this military exercise from Monday. They said that Taiwan is acting separatist. This exercise is to warn. It is not known when this exercise will end.

German-based media outlet Deutsche Welle reported that the ongoing exercise has been named ‘Sword 2024B’. China’s statement in this regard, the ability of naval and air forces to conduct joint operations is being verified.

China’s Ministry of Defense said it was also sending a stern message regarding Taiwan’s separatist activities. Necessary and legal exercises are being carried out in the national interest and the sovereignty of the country.

China’s military’s Eastern Command has informed that exercises are underway in the north, south and east of Taiwan.

Chinese warplanes and warships have approached Taiwan from various directions, according to a spokesman for the Eastern Command. They are conducting joint blockade of ports and other areas, striking naval and land targets, joint naval and land strikes.

Meanwhile, Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense said it strongly condemns this unreasonable and provocative behavior. They are their own freedom. Taking appropriate measures to protect democracy and sovereignty.

Taiwan government said. China’s war game is destroying regional peace and stability.

The Mainland Affairs Committee, Taiwan’s China policy-making body, said Taiwan would not back down.

China claims the democratically ruled Taiwan as its territory. China’s stance has hardened since Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te’s National Day speech last week.

In that speech, Lai said, if China tries to take Taiwan, it will be blocked. He said, Beijing and Taipei are not under anyone.

Then US Secretary of State Blinken warned China not to take any action against Taiwan.
