Congress protests in Agartala over the budget

The budget presented by the Finance Minister of the Government of India this year is against the interests of the common people. Especially in the budget, no importance has been given to the protection and development of women’s interests. Congress has taken up India-wide protest program protesting the budget.

The Tripura Pradesh Congress and its affiliates also organized a protest program in Agartala on Friday.

On this day, members of the Congress and its branch organizations took out a procession in front of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Bhavan in the post office Choumuhani area of ​​the capital Agartala.

The activists participating in the program were holding party flags and posters with various anti-budget slogans. The procession passed through various streets of the city and ended in front of the city center. Everyone present protested by burning copies of the budget.

The program was attended by Tripura Pradesh Mahila Congress President Sarvani Ghosh Chakraborty, Sampadika Shreyashil Laskar, Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress President Neelkamal Saha and others.
