Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stressed unity among Muslim countries to stop Israel’s attacks on Palestinians in Gaza and to implement UN Security Council ceasefire decisions.

The Turkish leader highlighted this importance while talking to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia on Monday.

The Turkish media Daily Sabah gave this news about an official of President Erdogan.

Incidentally, last month the UN Security Council passed a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, Erdogan told Salman that more effective joint efforts are needed to implement the UN Security Council decision.

Erdogan has become one of Israel’s fiercest critics since the Gaza war began. He expressed full support for Hamas and rejected the Western position of classifying Hamas as a terrorist organization.

In addition, Erdoğan accused Israel of carrying out genocide in Gaza by calling it a terrorist state. And as the latest initiative, Türkiye has announced to stop exporting products to Israel.
