Four Arab leaders are going to visit China

The leaders of Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Tunisia are visiting China this week. China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this information on Monday. When Israel is committing gross human rights violations in Gaza, they are going to Beijing. News Anadolu
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said in a statement that the leaders will visit China from May 28 to June 1. They will attend the opening ceremony of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.
Arab leaders include Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Bahrain’s King Hamad, Tunisian President Kais Said, United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
China wants to play the role of a mediator in resolving the ongoing conflict between the Palestinian independence organization Hamas and Israel. In such a context, this gathering of Arab leaders is going to be held in Beijing.
China has historically been sympathetic to the Palestinians. They support the two-state solution.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has called an international peace conference aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict.
Earlier in November last year, Beijing hosted a meeting with the foreign ministers of the Palestinian Authority, Indonesia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The talks were initiated to end the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
