The Palestinian independence group Hamas has warned Israel of an attack on Gaza’s Rafah city on the border with Egypt.

Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan gave this warning on Wednesday (May 1). He said these things on the Hezbollah-backed Lebanese channel ‘Al-Manar’.

He said, if the enemy launches a ground offensive in Rafah, then the talks will stop. Because the resistance movement does not negotiate.

Hamdan also said that Hamas’ resistance capability is still at a high level. The resistance movement is still strong. And at the same time the Zionist elite brigades are taking hold in the Gaza Strip.

He said, Israeli enemies have bet on their capabilities. But the resistance movement is preparing.

Hamdan confirms that he is in constant contact with two of Hamad’s leaders, Mohammad Deif and Yahya Sinwar. They are closely monitoring the situation on the ground.

He said that there are regular coordinated activities regarding the war. One of the most important results of this war is that the strength and power of the Resistance has increased. The Iranian backlash against the Zionist entity has created new equations.

He also said that those who are building a sea jetty in Gaza are the US government.

Hamdan said every armed force on Gaza soil is an enemy of the Palestinian people. The plan to build a new political authority in the Gaza Strip would undermine the resistance movement.

He also welcomed Chinese mediation. He said the enemy is trying to blackmail everyone in the Rafah war.

Meanwhile, a Hamas source told the Saudi newspaper Ashraq, this time there is a different atmosphere and situation regarding the ceasefire proposal.

Hamas members have returned to Cairo after talks. They will discuss among themselves and state their position on the ceasefire proposal given by Israel.
