Hezbollah has threatened to attack if it helps Israel, which Cyprus has said

For the first time, the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrullah, has threatened to attack the European country of Cyprus. He speculated that in the event of an all-out war, Cyprus might allow occupying Israeli forces to use its ports and bases.

In this regard, the spokesperson of the government of Cyprus said that the statements and threats made by the head of Hezbollah are not consistent with reality and Cyprus has never been involved in a military conflict and will never be.
Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulides said his island nation was “in no way involved” in any military operations in the region.
Cyprus spokesman Constantinos Latimpiotis said, “Our relations with Lebanon are still excellent.”
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera’s correspondent from Lebanon said that Hezbollah is still moving cautiously. They are still following the unwritten rules of relations with Israel. Conflict is largely confined to border areas and military targets.
On Wednesday, Nasrallah warned Cyprus, an EU member located in the eastern Mediterranean west of Lebanon and the Israeli coast, that “they have information that Israel is conducting military exercises in Cyprus.”
Nasrullah said, “If the ports and bases of Cyprus are opened to the Israeli enemies to attack Lebanon, it means that the government of Cyprus will be part of this war and the resistance forces will act as part of the war against them.”
What Hassan Nasrullah wanted to say in Wednesday’s speech is, “Hezbollah does not want an all-out war with Israel.” But they are not afraid of Israel.
