Hezbollah has already launched missile attacks on various areas of Israel, including Tel Aviv, as a response to the deadly bombardment by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. It also has 3 military bases.
In three separate statements on Monday evening, Hezbollah announced heavy missile strikes on key military bases in Israeli-occupied territory.
Hezbollah fired dozens of missiles at various key military positions in the occupied territories in support of the Palestinian resistance movement in the Gaza Strip and to protect Lebanon and its people, the statement said.
Hezbollah’s first statement said dozens of missiles were fired at the Ramat David base and airport on September 23.
A second statement said that on the same day, the Rafael military industrial complex in the Haifar Zofulon area of northern Israel was also targeted by dozens of Hezbollah missiles.
Fighters from the armed group also attacked Israel’s Ain Zaytim base with dozens of missiles, a third statement said.
Hezbollah called the attacks part of Palestinian resistance and Lebanon’s defense.
Earlier, at least 1,300 people were killed in an attack by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on Monday morning. According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, 275 people were killed and 1,024 injured in the attack.
Israeli attacks have caused widespread destruction in southern Lebanon’s villages and towns, and further casualties are feared.
