In Malaysia, the operation is underway to identify and arrest the master of the syndicate

The country’s Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has identified the mastermind of a syndicate formed to smuggle Bangladeshi workers through the airport in Malaysia.

The country’s Anti-Corruption Commission said in a statement on Wednesday that a syndicate was formed to evict Bangladeshi workers from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport using illegal means.

And the master of that syndicate is Bangladeshi. Anti-Corruption Commission Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said efforts to arrest him are underway. However, the commission did not reveal the name of this Bangladeshi.

According to the statement, the syndicate uses various codes to pass foreigners using the airport’s ‘counter setting’. For example, Bangladeshi citizens are called ‘school boy’, Pakistanis are called ‘carpet’, Indians are called ‘soy sauce’ or ‘rooty chanai’, and Myanmar citizens are called ‘janta’.

According to the commission, various agents of the Malaysian security forces were bribed and delivered to the immigration officials for the entry of Bangladeshi workers through that syndicate. A Bangladeshi is controlling that syndicate.

The chief commissioner of the commission said that the Bangladeshi, the master of the syndicate, is still in Malaysia and has been kept under surveillance. He can be arrested at any time.

The Commissioner said that there is some delay in bringing workers to Malaysia as no decision has been received from the Bangladeshi authorities regarding the activities of the Bangladeshi syndicate.
