Iran attacks Israel, says Hamas

Hamas, the armed organization of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, has expressed its full support for Iran’s direct attack on Israeli territory. In a statement, they said, Iran had full right to carry out this attack.

Hamas said, “We believe that Iran’s military operation is legitimate and normal in the wake of the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus by Zionist Israel.”

In the statement, Hamas sought the support of all Arab, Muslim and independent peoples to recognize Palestine as an independent state.

Iran launched a direct attack on Israel early Sunday morning. In this unprecedented attack, massive explosions are happening across Israel. Iran has launched more than three hundred drones and rockets. Attacks also came from Iraq and Yemen. Air raid sirens sounded throughout Israel, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Israel has announced an “appropriate response” to Iran’s attack. Meanwhile, the country’s wartime cabinet is discussing the issue. If Israel retaliates, the situation will become very serious indeed. Most likely, an attack on the Iranian base from which the attack was launched. But Israel may go one step further. They may also attack Iran’s military bases and training centers of the Revolutionary Guard Corps.

And if this happens, Iran will undoubtedly counterattack. That’s what they announced. Iran has warned that if Israel tries to respond to the attack, it will take further steps. Iran’s military chief of staff, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, said that if Israel tried to retaliate, it would be bigger than overnight bombings.
