Occupying Israel has demanded the killing of two other high-ranking officials, including the head of the Hamas government, Rahi Mustaha, in the besieged Gaza Strip of Palestine.
On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said in a tweet that three months ago, Hamas head of government Rahi Mustaha, Hamas officials Sameh al-Siraj and Sami Odeh were targeted in Gaza. They have now confirmed that these three people were killed in the attack.
The Israel Defense Forces also said the three were in a tunnel in northern Gaza when the attack was carried out. At that time, based on intelligence information, air strikes were carried out targeting them.
Israeli forces also claimed that the tunnel where the head of the government of Gaza was located had many facilities and resources for a long stay.
Israel also claimed that Hamas had kept this information secret so as not to break the morale of Hamas fighters.
The war between Hamas and Israel started on October 7 last year. Israel has killed more than 41,000 Palestinians in the year-long war. In addition to Hamas fighters and officials, there are thousands of civilians.
At the start of the war, Israel said it would completely eliminate Hamas from Gaza. But until now, the occupying Israel has not been able to achieve this goal.
