At least 12 pro-Iran fighters were killed in an Israeli attack on a factory near the northern Syrian city of Aleppo. UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported the information.
However, the Syrian Ministry of Defense did not confirm the exact number of casualties. It was only reported that sometime after midnight, the Israeli enemy launched airstrikes targeting some positions from the southeast of Aleppo. Several people were killed and property damaged.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said several Syrian and foreign fighters were killed in the attack in the town of Hayan, north of Aleppo. After the attack, a powerful explosion was reported at a factory.
Israel has launched hundreds of attacks in Syria so far. However, they have rarely acknowledged military operations against the neighboring country. Most of the time they denied carrying out the attack.
