A group of 45 American doctors and nurses who have experience working in the besieged Gaza Strip since last October said Israeli forces are deliberately shooting children in Gaza.

They wrote an open letter to US President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Recently this letter was published on social media.

The letter to the medical workers described the horrific carnage of the Israeli forces in the besieged valley. The US is considering continuing to support Israel in the Gaza war. Such a letter came to the top people of the US government at such a moment.

In the letter they wrote, ‘Perhaps the number of dead in this conflict is already more than 92 thousand. Which is surprisingly 4.2 percent of Gaza’s population.’

In the joint letter, each of the signatories said, “Israel has treated Palestinian children inhumanely.” Children are being deliberately targeted. Each of us treats children every day. Some of them were shot in the head and some in the chest. Everyone in Gaza is sick and injured, with few exceptions.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is now in the United States. Kamala Harris met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in Washington on Thursday (July 25). Harris said he will not be silent about the suffering of the people in the Palestinian territory of Gaza due to the ongoing war.

“What has happened in Gaza in the last nine months is terrible,” said Kamala Harris. Images of dead children and desperate, starving people fleeing for safety, sometimes for the second, third or fourth time displaced people.

We cannot ignore these tragedies. We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to our suffering. And I will not be silent.

Harris, the Democratic candidate nominated by Biden in the upcoming US election, also said that he urged Netanyahu to agree to the US-backed cease-fire proposal.

Meanwhile, 30 more Palestinians were killed in the Israeli attack on the besieged Gaza territory of Palestine. Due to this, the total number of victims in the valley has reached about 39 thousand 200 people. In addition, more than 90,000 Palestinians have been injured in this attack since October last year.
