North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has been accused of executing 30 officials for negligence in flood prevention. This information has emerged in the reports of some media of the country’s neighboring country, South Korea.

South Korean media claimed that there was a major flood in North Korea in July. Thousands of people lost their lives in landslides, heavy rains and floods. Many have become homeless. Kim sentenced several government officials to death who tried to reduce the damage.

The Indian Express reported on Thursday that South Korea’s Soshan TV channel quoted a North Korean source in this regard and published this news. They said that these officials were executed last month i.e. at the end of August.

North Korean authorities have not officially confirmed the incident. However, a report by North Korea’s Central News Agency (NCCNA) said Kim ordered “severe punishment” against government officials responsible for flood damage as early as July.

Kim Jong Un came to power in North Korea in 2011. Since then, he has been making the headlines of strange news from time to time.
