Mehbooba Mufti, the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, India, said that the youth of Bangladesh should learn from what they have done. According to him, the youth in Bangladesh were in the same situation; The youth of Kashmir is in the same situation.
Mehbooba Mufti said in an event on Wednesday, what has happened and is happening in Bangladesh, I think our country should learn from here. When a large part of your population is young; As you try to ignore them, situations arise when inflation and unemployment hit them.
The former Chief Minister of Kashmir also said, we have to learn from Bangladesh, dictatorships do not last long. People’s patience breaks at times. Then you have to run away like Sheikh Hasina.
Referring specifically to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba said, we have to learn from Bangladesh, where the youth have many problems. Just as the youth of Bangladesh felt helpless, the youth here are also in the same situation. Everything is here including exploitation, pressure. These must change. I hope the situation in Bangladesh will not be repeated here.
Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned from the country on August 5 in the face of widespread revolution by students and people. Many countries are asking to learn from Bangladesh what can happen if the patience of common people is broken.
