Lloyd Austin called the Israeli defense minister to the Pentagon

Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder said US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin invited Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant to the Pentagon.

Patrick Ryder confirmed this in a tweet on Saturday. He said that they will mainly discuss the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Minister Gallant has accepted the invitation and will soon travel to the United States.

Meanwhile, 28 people were killed in a single day by Israeli bombardment of three houses in Gaza City.
