Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an emergency meeting with the Security Affairs Committee of India’s Union Cabinet to review the situation in Bangladesh.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Cabinet Secretary Rajeev Gauba, Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office PK Mishra, Ravi Sinha and Intelligence Bureau (IB) were present at the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence on Monday night.
