The funeral and burial of Sayed Hassan Nasrullah, head of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike, will be held tomorrow, Friday.
Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported this information on Thursday (October 3) through an Iraqi media outlet.
The burial of the slain Hezbollah leader will take place on Friday, Iraqi media outlet Sabrin News reported on Thursday morning, citing an unidentified source.
The media did not provide any details about the time and place of burial of Nasrullah, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in a residential area in the suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut last Friday.
According to a report by Iran’s state news agency IRNA, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued an order from the United Nations office in New York to kill the head of Hezbollah with the support of the United States.
Following the order, Israeli warplanes dropped 2,000,000 pounds of US-supplied bombs on densely populated areas of Beirut. Nasrullah was killed there along with many other civilians.
