Pakistan PM seeks journalists’ cooperation in improving relations with Bangladesh

South Asian Climate Change Journalist’s Forum (SACCJF) leaders met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the World Climate Conference Center in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

The Pakistani Prime Minister expressed his excitement in this brief interaction with Bangladeshi journalists. He said in Bengali – “Bangladesh, Sonar Bangla.”

Then, in the conversation that took place for a minute in English, he sought journalists’ cooperation in deepening friendly relations with Bangladesh. He also expressed his interest in working together with Bangladesh to address the climate crisis.

SACCJF President Asish Gupta (India), Executive President Karamot Ullah Biplob and Treasurer Masum Billah (Bangladesh) and Executive Member Imran Y. Choudhry, Adnan Yousaf Choudhry
(Pakistan) were present during the brief meeting and discussion.

He also held courtesy calls with ministers and leaders of various countries, including Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Brazilian Climate Minister Marina Silva.
