The United States has given Israel more than 20,000 destructive bombs

Despite international pressure, the United States has always provided weapons to Israel in the Gaza war in Palestine. A large amount of arms aid to Israel included 2,000 pounds of bombs, Hellfire missiles and missiles. The Biden administration has been giving them these weapons since October 7 last year.
Two US officials disclosed the matter in a briefing on the arms shipment. British media Reuters reported this information.
U.S. officials, who did not wish to be named, said that since October 7, the United States has sent at least 14,000 2,000-pound MK-84 bombs, 6,500 500-pound bombs, 3,000 air-to-ground missiles and 1,000 bunker-busting bombs to Israel. Apart from this, 2,600 small hand grenades and some other ammunition have been provided.
Although US officials did not disclose the date of the arms shipment, the amount of arms deliveries suggests that the United States has continued to supply arms regardless of international pressure. Except for a heavy bombshell shipment by the Biden administration.
Experts say, as a result of these shipments, Israel has been able to carry out military operations against Hamas in Gaza for a long time. Which started after the unprecedented attack of Hamas on October 7. At that time, Hamas attacked Israel by land, sea and air. About 1,200 Israeli civilians were killed and 250 were taken hostage.
Tom Caracco, a weapons expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said the large quantities of weapons supplied could have been widely used in major battles like Gaza. The recent release of the arms supply list proves that the US has strong support for Israel. The weapons on the list could be used by Israel in a possible conflict with Hamas or Hezbollah.
According to the report, although there is no information on previous shipments, all weapons sent to Israel since the start of the Gaza war are documented.
Since the start of the Gaza war, Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah have been fighting back and forth. The situation is such that a large-scale war can break out between the two sides at any time.
The White House declined to comment. The Israeli Embassy in Washington did not respond when contacted.
Shipments since the Gaza war make up a large portion of US shipments to Israel, a US official said.
Another senior official told reporters last Wednesday (June 27) that Washington has sent 6.5 billion worth of security (weapons) aid to Israel since October 7.
Meanwhile, Biden has faced political pressure in his home country for supporting Israel in the Gaza war. Young Democrats in particular have turned their backs on Biden. As a result, Biden’s second term as president has become uncertain. ‘Reluctance’ votes surge in US presidential primaries and pro-Palestinian protests erupt at US universities.
