Urgent notification about ‘passport’ for expatriate Bangladeshis in Malaysia

Bangladesh High Commission has decided to provide hand-to-hand machine-readable passport delivery service in the country’s Kuantan and Kelantan provinces in addition to the post office for the convenience of expatriate Bangladeshis staying in Malaysia.
This information has been informed in an emergency notification signed by Mia Mohammad Kayamuddin, Counselor of Passport and Visa Wing of Kuala Lumpur Bangladesh High Commission on Thursday.
According to the notification, the interested person should apply online from the temporary office of the Counselor Team in Kota Bahru, Kuantan and Kelantan.
Bangladeshis can collect their passports directly from the ASD Sunmoon Sdn Bhd office at B96 Tingkat Bawah, Jalan Bukit Ubi, Kuantan province from 9am to 4pm on June 1 and 2. But for this you have to apply online by May 29.
Bangladeshis will be able to collect their passports directly from Lot 4653-C Langar, Jalan Pasir Puteh, Kota Bahru, Kelantan Province from 9 am to 4 pm on June 8 and 9.
For this they have to apply online by June 5.
Applicants who have their information online can only attend in person and collect their passports. Apart from this, the passport delivery service will also continue through the post office.
The candidate has to make an appointment online at https://appointment.bdhckl.gov.bd/other to collect his/her passport from the designated place. Besides, the service of collecting passports by post will also continue. And Bangladeshis have been requested not to take appointment in these two types of services.
Besides, the application form for ePassport can be submitted at the temporary office of the Counselor Team at the specified time, place and date. For submission of e-passport application form it is mandatory to make an appointment by calling the help line number 03-92120267 of the call center of ‘Expert Services Sdn Bhd’ (ESKL).
