The United States and the United Kingdom have attacked the port city along with small towns in the western part of Yemen. At least 11 people were killed and 14 injured in this attack.

A spokesman for the internationally recognized government in the country told Reuters news agency on Tuesday. Al Arabiya news
Houthi-run Al Masirah television reported that Yemen’s Hodeidah and Rasisaa ports were attacked 17 times by airstrikes.

Iran-backed Houthi rebels continue to attack commercial ships in the Red Sea on behalf of the Palestinians in opposition to the Israeli attack on Gaza in November last year. After this attack, this is the first time that a civilian has lost his life in Yemen in an attack by the United States and the United Kingdom. The attack was carried out at a time when the holy month of Ramadan has begun.

Meanwhile, attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea have intensified after Britain and the US coalition and others launched attacks on the Houthis.

The Houthis attacked a Barbados-flagged ship off the coast of Aden port last Wednesday. Three crew members were killed in the attack. Apart from this, on February 18, when the ship of Rubimar was attacked, the ship later sank.

In such a situation, many ships are going to Africa on a long way. The ship fare has increased so much.
