Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said the Gillot military base near Tel Aviv has been targeted as a major target in Hezbollah’s revenge operation to avenge the killing of senior commander Fuad Shukhar.
Nasrallah said these things in a speech given to commemorate the anniversary of Arbain on Sunday.
He said, today is the 20th Safar, the fortieth anniversary of Imam Hussain (PBUH). Who is the symbol of sacrifice, philanthropy, rejection of injustice and surrender and the leader of the revolution till the day of judgement.
The Hezbollah leader called Sunday’s military operation on the Israeli military base the ‘Urbain operation’.
Noting that Israel has crossed all redlines of aggression against southern Lebanon, Nasrallah said Hezbollah did not harm any civilians in the occupied territories in its “Arbain operation”.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah said at the time about the reason for the delay in taking revenge for the martyrdom of Fouad Shukar against the Zionist entity, Hezbollah wanted to give an opportunity to negotiate a Gaza ceasefire to end the genocidal Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip. This is the main reason why the retaliation has been delayed.
Nasrallah said Hezbollah fighters had decided to wipe out the Gillot military spy base near Tel Aviv. However, the enemy claimed that they had shot down the drones. Yet a large number of drones have safely crossed the border into enemy airspace and hit specific targets.
Stating that the retaliatory operation was as planned, Nasrallah said, “All of Israel has come to a standstill because of this retaliatory operation by Hezbollah.”
He said the main targets of the operation were Israeli spy bases and air defense bases, which were definitely hit.
At the end of the speech, the Hezbollah leader also said that Hezbollah will never abandon the innocent Palestinians in Gaza.
Along with that, Hassan Nasrallah also announced that Hezbollah will not delay any decision regarding any retaliatory measures in the future. Source: Al-Mayadeen.
