What Rahul Gandhi said about the situation in Bangladesh

India’s opposition leader Rahul Gandhi said, “I am confident that the situation will stabilize in Bangladesh.”
Rahul Gandhi said this in response to a question at a press conference organized at the National Press Club in Washington DC on Tuesday local time.

According to Congress’ verified Facebook and X page posts, Rahul Gandhi said in the press conference that they have a long-standing relationship with the people of Bangladesh. His grandmother was deeply involved in the creation of Bangladesh.
This Congress leader said that India is concerned about the issue of extremists in Bangladesh. They have some of that anxiety.
Rahul Gandhi said, “But I am confident that the situation in Bangladesh will stabilize and we will be able to have a relationship with the current government or any other government after it.”
Rahul Gandhi also said, “From our side, it is our government’s responsibility to apply pressure so that the violence stops.”
