Hezbollah orders Israeli residents to evacuate for the first time

For the first time, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has ordered residents of northern Israel to evacuate. The pro-Iranian group has been attacking Israel with the support of Hamas since October 7 last year. The government of Benjamin Netanyahu has evacuated at least 60,000 residents from Israel’s northern border due to fear of Hezbollah attacks.

This time, Hezbollah has ordered residents of northern Israel to evacuate after carrying out airstrikes on Iranian soil. Until now, the Israeli military has sent warnings before attacks on Lebanon. Many times, that too was not done according to policy. This time, Hezbollah has given instructions to Israeli residents about the attack.

Al Jazeera reported this in a report on Sunday (October 27).

The report said that the one-minute video by Hezbollah is the first forced evacuation order for residents of northern Israel. The warning covers 25 settlements in northern Israel, located between 3km and 22km from the Lebanese border. It is said that about 200,000 Israelis live in the area.

The warning is seen as another step in the new tensions between Israel and Hezbollah.

Hezbollah said on Friday that it had carried out its highest number of operations against the Israeli military in 24 hours, with 48 operations. The group has also carried out rocket and drone attacks on northern Israel in the past week.
