Fearing a Hezbollah counterattack, Israeli forces have ordered their northern residents to stay close to underground shelters there.

The Palestinian news agency Sama reported that the Israeli army issued new guidelines for residents of 12 settlements in northern Israel on Thursday night.

It asked Jews living in the north to refrain from unnecessary activities outside the home.

In the announcement of the Israeli forces, it is said that they will carry out large-scale operations on the northern front, that is, in southern Lebanon, in the coming days.

Israel’s TV channel Twelve reported that the Israeli army imposed a complete ban on news coverage of the northern region and did not allow civilians to enter the area.

The army’s directive also states that no one should travel to northern Israel if they want to save their lives.

Israel detonated pagers and walkie-talkies across Lebanon last Tuesday and Wednesday, alluding to an all-out war with Hezbollah. At least 37 people were killed and more than 3,250 people were injured in these explosions.

Hizbollah said that since October 7 last year, they cannot be deterred from the war that they have started against Israel with the support of Gazans, by making such explosions. Hizbullah Secretary General Syed Hassan Nasrullah has threatened to take severe revenge against Israel.
