Why the revolt against Netanyahu has spread

A fierce revolt against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spread throughout Israel. The revolt mainly spread after the recent dismissal of the country’s Defense and War Minister Yoav Gallant.
On Thursday (November 7), the Tehran-based Mehr News Agency reported that Netanyahu cited a “crisis of trust” as the reason behind Gallant’s dismissal, which has caused a rift in their relationship.
Meanwhile, former Israeli Defense Minister Gallant cited disagreements on three issues as the reason for his removal. One of them is that he had said he would make a “painful but tolerable concession” to bring back the prisoners.
However, the warlord Netanyahu and his illegal cabinet did not agree with him.
In this situation, a section of the Israeli public strongly demands that the new Defense Minister should prioritize the issue of the rapid release of prisoners.
It is worth noting that Netanyahu and Gallant have long had a heated relationship over the war policy in Gaza. Netanyahu dismissed Gallant due to political disagreements a few months before the start of the Gaza war. However, he was forced to reinstate him in the face of widespread public protests.
In a statement on Tuesday, Netanyahu said, “It is extremely important that there is full trust between the prime minister and the war minister during a war.”
