4 children die every hour in Gaza, 31 children die of starvation

Four children are killed every hour by brutal Israeli forces in the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza. Meanwhile, the number of children who have died due to starvation and dehydration in the territory has now increased to 31.

Al-Jazeera reported this information in a report on Friday (April 5).

Citing the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the media also reported that 1,000 children have lost one or both of their legs due to the Israeli aggression in Gaza.

Meanwhile, PRCS posted several posts on social media platform X in honor of Palestinian Children’s Day on Thursday. One of the posts read, “1,000 children in Gaza have lost one or both legs.” Another post said, “4 children are being killed every hour in Gaza.”

Besides, the death toll in Gaza has exceeded 33,000. Most of the dead were women and children in Israel’s six-month-long offensive.

On Thursday (April 4), Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that at least 33,37 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 last year. During this time, 75 thousand 668 Palestinians were injured.

Gaza’s media office also said 73 percent of those targeted by Israeli strikes in Gaza were women and children. Besides, 17,000 children are living without their parents or either of them. Recalling the famine there, the media office said 31 children have died in Gaza so far due to malnutrition and dehydration. Besides, 484 healthcare workers, 140 journalists and 65 civil defense workers were also killed in Israeli attacks.
