Singapore is the safest city in the world

Southeast Asian city-state Singapore has topped the list of 60 cities in the world as the safest city. No city in the United States or the United Kingdom made it to the top three. Other cities are Tokyo, Japan and Toronto, Canada.

Forbes, the world’s most influential magazine, has published a ranking of 60 cities in the world by prioritizing seven important aspects. The seven themes are – Crime, Personal Safety, Health, Infrastructure, Natural Disasters and Digital Security.

According to the report, Singapore is first with a score of zero, Tokyo in Japan is second with a score of 10.72 and Toronto in Canada is at the top of the list of safest cities for tourists with a score of 13.6.

On the other hand, with a score of 100, the city of Caracas in Venezuela is at the bottom of the list of dangerous cities. It is followed by Pakistan’s Karachi (93.12 score) and Myanmar’s Yangon (91.67 score). Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is ranked sixth as the most dangerous city for tourists with a score of 89.50.
