At least 30 people, including children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on a makeshift hospital in the central Palestinian city of Deir el-Balah in the besieged Gaza Strip.

This terrible attack happened on Saturday (July 27).

The hospital was built in a school called Khadija in the city, Gaza’s official media office said. Israeli warplanes fired three missiles at the hospital. At least 30 people were killed and many injured.

The media office said in a statement, “We strongly condemn the horrific massacre by Israel occupying a makeshift hospital that was treating several patients and injured people.”

In the statement, they also said, “Israel and the administration of the United States bear full responsibility for this massacre of displaced civilians.”

Over the past few days, Israel has again increased the intensity of attacks in Gaza. Many people are dying every day.

On October 7 last year, the Palestinian armed group Hamas attacked various illegal settlements in Israel. After that, Israel began to attack Gaza indiscriminately from that day. Their attacks have killed more than 40,000 people in Gaza so far. Besides, more than 1 lakh people were injured. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, most of the dead and injured were innocent women and children.

Mediating countries are trying to broker a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel to stop the atrocities in Gaza. However, due to the obstruction of the occupying Israel, the agreement has not been possible yet.
