In Pakistan, the bodies of five Afghan nationals were hanged from electric poles. The incident took place near Iran border in Chagai of Balochistan on Sunday.
According to the police, these five were residents of Laskar Gah in Helmand province of Afghanistan. Their bodies were riddled with bullets. Their bodies were taken to Quetta Central Hospital. These bodies were found on Friday morning.
According to the local police, these five people were killed in another place. Their bodies were then brought to Dalbandin in Chagai, Balochistan. The police are trying to find out the reason why these bodies were brought to Dalbandin after the murder.
Several pictures of bodies hanging from electric poles have gone viral on social media. That area of Balochistan is an important place along the border. The separatists have a strong position there.
The police have not yet released the details of the victims. Besides, no armed group has yet acknowledged their killing.
Some local media reported that these five were members of Afghanistan’s security forces. But after the Taliban came to power, they lost their jobs.
The discovery of the bodies of five former members of the security forces in Pakistan has again raised questions about the current humanitarian situation in Afghanistan. After the Taliban came to power, they announced a general amnesty for all members of the security forces who had served under the previous government. But despite this, they are alleged to have been harassed at various times.
