Sri Lanka President removes five more State Ministers

Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe has removed five State Ministers, including Geetha Kumarasinghe, with immediate effect, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said. Shasheendra Rajapaksa,Thenuka Vidanagamage, Prasanna Ranaweera and D.V. Chanaka are among the others who were removed. The removals were made under Article 47 (3) (a) of the Constitution, the PMD said.
