Ismail Haniyeh, the top leader of Hamas, was killed by a guided missile at his private residence in Tehran, Iran. Some sources of the Saudi Arabian media Al-Hadath reported this information.
According to Al-Hadath report, the missile attack was carried out on Haniya’s residence at 11:30 pm local time in Tehran on Tuesday.
Iran’s state media reports on Haniya’s murder are giving almost the same information.
Fars News, affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, said Haniya was staying in a residence reserved for dignitaries in northern Tehran. At this time, he was killed by ‘weapons thrown from the sky’.
On Wednesday morning, Iranian state television reported the death of Ismail Haniyar.
According to reports, Haniya and one of her bodyguards were killed in an attack in the capital, Tehran. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards also issued a statement announcing the death of a top Hamas leader.
