
Israeli soldiers shoot and kill Palestinians fleeing their homes
Residents of the Palestinian Gaza City have been ordered to leave their homes again by the occupying Israeli forces. However, residents have complained that people fleeing their homes are being shot dead on the streets. Even the bodies lying on the road are not allowed to be rescued by the Israeli forces.
Last Wednesday (July 10), Israel once again ordered residents to evacuate Gaza City due to intensified attacks on Gaza.
The Israeli military launched the attack even as mediators from Qatar, the United States and Egypt met with Israeli officials in Doha to broker a ceasefire.
A man told Al-Jazeera that he was sitting near Yarmouk Stadium. He then saw an Israeli sniper shooting a man on a bicycle carrying food. The sniper shot the person directly.
One woman told Al-Jazeera she wanted to go through Yarmouk Stadium but was told Palestinian bodies were lying on the road. who were shot dead by Israeli snipers.
The woman said, ‘We want the help of paramedics and fire service people to remove the bodies. Then at least the bodies wouldn’t be lying on the streets. Because, if the bodies are not removed from the road, they will be eaten by dogs. The bodies should be buried.’
However, another resident of the area said that the paramedics could not reach the bodies. He said that they (paramedics) did not receive any instructions to recover the bodies. As soon as someone moves towards the corpses, they are shot directly.
Some residents said Israeli snipers shot a man in the head as he walked down the street. Later some people managed to recover the body. A resident said, “The man was walking calmly. At that time, he was shot in the head. Later we went ahead and brought the dead body.
Meanwhile, civil defense workers have recovered at least 60 bodies in northern Gaza’s Shujaiya district after a two-week offensive by Israeli forces. Gaza health officials reported this information on Thursday.
Israel announced on Wednesday night that it had ended operations against Hamas there. The families of the missing residents and Civil Defense Agency personnel then started searching for them.
Agency spokesperson Mahmud Basal said, “85 percent of the buildings in Shujaiya are now uninhabitable and Shujaiya has now become a ‘disaster zone’.” 1 lakh 20 thousand people here have become homeless.

Pedro’s call to reject duplicity
According to the report of the news agency AFP, the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, called on the Western countries to reject the duality of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Last Wednesday, he called for support for Ukraine with other leaders at the summit of the Western military alliance NATO in Washington, USA.
Speaking at the conference, Pedro said, “If we tell our people, we are supporting Ukraine because we are protecting international law.” Then we have to do exactly the same thing in the case of Gaza.
The Prime Minister of Spain said, “There should be a consistent political position in this matter, where we do not have duplicity.” He also commented that there is an immediate and urgent need to create an environment for a ceasefire in Gaza.
