
Pakistan has waived the visa fee of 126 countries

Pakistan has made major changes in its visa policy to attract global tourists and investment. In a federal cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif decided to waive visa fees for 126 countries to attract businessmen, investors and tourists. What is being called as ‘Quantum Jump’ in Pakistan.
Pakistan has relaxed the visa policy and approved online visa application process. As a result, citizens of 126 countries can now get business and tourist visas online at home within 24 hours. And they don’t have to pay any fee for this. That means citizens of 126 countries will get visa even a day before going to Pakistan.
In this regard, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said that visa fee waiver and visa process simplification will attract investment and tourists in the country. Through which the foreign currency income will increase in the country. Visitors will not get visas within 24 hours through the electronic travel authorization form, but will benefit from e-gates, which will be established at Gwadar port and nine airports in Pakistan. Initially, e-gates will be installed at Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi airports.
Not only that; Pakistan has also made special arrangements for travel facilities for Sikh Yatris (pilgrims) holding third country passports. The country’s cabinet has approved a separate sub-section for visa-on-arrival facility. Apart from this, a dashboard will be launched in the Ministry of Home Affairs to monitor the online visa system.
