Saudi Arabia has set a deadline for those who went to perform Umrah to return before the start of Hajj. The Hajj and Umrah Ministry of the country has fixed the date for Umrah Hajids to return to the 29th of the Arabic month of ‘Zilqad’ (May 21). The news is from Gulf News.

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, those who do not return after performing Umrah may be fined, deported and banned from re-entry for 10 years.

Incidentally, Saudi Arabia issues a 90-day visa for Umrah. Those who have Umrah visa can enter Saudi Arabia till next 15 Zilqad.

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, 90 days count starts from the day the visa is issued. Although many people think that visa validity starts from the day you enter Saudi. Their idea is wrong. Umrah visa will not be extended beyond 90 days in any way. Also, this visa will not be exchanged for another visa.

Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khatib said last week that more than 6 million Muslims have performed Umrah this season.

Note that foreign Muslims will start arriving in Saudi Arabia from 1 Zilqad to attend this year’s Hajj.
