Saudi Arabia has created a new history in the world of soft drinks. The country has launched its first soft drink made from dates. The drink is called ‘Milaf Cola’. The country has brought this cola with the promise of maintaining a balance of taste and nutrition.
The drink was launched at the Riyadh Date Festival last November by Saudi Agriculture Minister Abdur Rahman Al-Fadl and Thurath Al-Madina Company CEO Bandar Al-Qahtani.
Thurath Al-Madina, which works on inventing various types of food products made from dates, has brought this soft drink to the market.
The company said that ‘Milaf Cola’ is the result of long-term research. It has been made while maintaining international food safety and quality standards. Maximum attention has been paid to taste and nutrition. They expect it to be very popular in the local and global markets.
The manufacturer of Milaf Cola also says that the soft drink is made from high-quality dates sourced locally in Saudi Arabia. It is much healthier and more nutritious than conventional soft drinks.
