That is why Israel will not be able to win the Gaza war

The US has once again warned Israel strongly about the lack of a post-war strategy in Gaza. The country also has open questions about how the region will be governed and stabilized once the war ends.
Speaking at a press conference in Moldova’s capital Chisinau on Wednesday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned that Israel cannot win the Gaza war without a plan for what will happen the next day when the war ends. Israel ‘must’ develop a plan to ensure the defeat of Hamas and restore security and governance in Gaza.
He also said that the Israeli military has achieved “real success” in its efforts to destroy Hamas’ military capabilities. But he warned, Israel should not have a direct role in Gaza’s future.
Blinken said, “If that’s the case, we could see a long-term rebellion there in the future.”
Blinken also said that if there is no post-war plan, responsibility will be left to Hamas, which is unacceptable. Or if it doesn’t, we’ll see chaos, lawlessness, and a power vacuum that will eventually be filled again by Hamas, or perhaps something – if imagined – worse.
US officials are openly pressing Israel for a “day-after plan” for the so-called end of the war. They say Gaza should be governed by a “reformed” Palestinian Authority (PA) after the war.
However, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the US proposal. He said that the control of Gaza should not be given to the Palestinian Authority, but to the control of Gaza and the West Bank by Israel. That is why they are trying to eliminate Hamas completely.
