Israel has a long history of launching surprise attacks. The country also has a record of incidents ranging from cyber attacks to remote-controlled explosions, suicide drone attacks and attacks on nuclear facilities. On Wednesday, the Arab News report showed the cruel picture of Israel’s inhumane attacks.

July 2024: Israel kills top Hezbollah commander Fouad Shukur and Iran’s supreme leader Ismail Haniyeh within hours in Beirut and Tehran. He was killed in Haniya’s residence by a missile.

July 2024: Israel launched a massive attack on the southern Gaza Strip and attempted to kill Hamas military commander Mohammad Deif. 90 people including children were killed in that attack. However, there is still confusion about Deif’s death.

April 2024: Two Iranian generals were killed in an Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria. Around 300 missiles and drones were attacked.

January 2024: Top Hamas official in exile, Saleh Arouri, was killed in an Israeli drone strike in Beirut.

December 2023: Seyed Razi Mousavi, a longtime adviser to Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard in Syria, was killed in a drone strike outside Damascus. Iran strongly condemned this Israeli attack.

2021: Iran explodes an underground nuclear facility in central Iran. Also launched a devastating cyber attack. That attack caused temporary power outages across the country.

2020: Top Iranian military nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was killed by Israel. The assassination was carried out with a remote-controlled machine gun while traveling in a car outside Tehran.

2019: Israel airstrikes the home of Baha Abu El-Atta, a senior Islamic Jihad commander. He and his wife were killed in the incident.

2012: The head of the armed wing of Hamas, Ahmad Jabari, was killed in an airstrike by Israel.

2010: Iran’s nuclear centrifuges were disrupted and destroyed by a virus. It was believed to be a joint US-Israeli plan.

2008: Hezbollah’s military chief Imad Mughniyah was killed by Israel in a car bomb in Damascus.

2004: Israel airstrikes Hamas spiritual leader Ahmed Yassin while he is in a wheelchair. He was killed at that time.

2002: Salah Shehadeh, the second highest military leader of Hamas, was killed by an Israeli one-ton bomb in an apartment in Gaza City.

1996: A man named Yahya Ayash used to make bombs for Hamas. Israel killed him in a bomb attack.

1995: Fathi Shikaki, the founder of Islamic Jihad, was shot in the head by Israel in Malta. He died instantly.

1988: Palestine Liberation Organization military chief Khalil al-Wazir was killed by Israel in Tunisia.
