Turkey called on Iran

Türkiye has called on Iran to avoid escalation after a series of attacks on Israel. The country’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made this call in a phone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian. Reuters news.

Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan said on Sunday that Ankara does not want to spread tension in the Middle East. In response, Iran’s foreign minister said that the retaliatory attack against Israel has ended. If not attacked, Iran will not attack.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) said the missile was fired into Israeli territory at around 8pm GMT last Saturday. It was Iran’s first direct attack on Israeli territory.

The Israeli military also said Iran had launched more than 300 killer drones, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles. But most of the missiles were destroyed in the airspace.

According to international media, several locations, including a military base in southern Israel, have been hit by Iranian strikes. The infrastructure there has been damaged.
