12 Palestinians drowned in the sea while receiving aid dropped from a plane in the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza. Palestinian health authorities reported this information on Tuesday.
A video shows dozens of people running to collect aid dropped from a plane in the sea at Beit Lahiya beach in northern Gaza. And some people were seen picking up dead bodies from the sea.
Three of the 18 aid packages airdropped into Gaza on Monday (March 25) fell into the water due to faulty parachutes, the Pentagon said. However, they could not be sure whether anyone died while collecting these.
