The funeral of Haniya and her bodyguard was held in Tehran on Thursday. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei presided over it. At that time, millions of people can be seen in the capital. Everyone came to see their beloved leader for the last time.
Many women are also seen taking part in the silent protest holding Hania’s picture. After prayers, Hania’s body will be taken to Azadi (Freedom) Square.
He will then be buried in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Earlier, Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was assassinated in Iran on Wednesday.
