Attack on Syria, Israel warned by Russia

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned that the Israeli attack on Syria will lead to the spread of conflict in West Asia. Which will cause danger for the whole region.
In an interview given to Al-Mayadin TV channel recently, the Russian spokesman condemned Israel’s continued aggression and said that if the conflict spreads due to Israel’s irresponsible actions, it will be a danger to the entire region.
In recent years, occupying Israel has repeatedly attacked various areas, including the Syrian capital, Damascus. However, Syria claims that most of these attacks can be prevented with the help of air defense systems.
Damascus has always protested in the UN Security Council against the invasion of the independent and sovereign state of Syria. But still Israel is not stopping this criminal aggression.
Maria Zakharova said that the Israeli attack on the consular building of the Iranian embassy in Damascus brought the West Asian region to the brink of a major war. In this situation, Israel should refrain from aggressive activities against Syria and comply with international laws and principles.
The Russian diplomat also said that Israel’s strategic partner, the United States and its Western allies, remain silent on the ongoing situation in West Asia and view attacks and conflicts in the region as normal.
However, Zakharova also said that Russia has clear proposals to stop the war and restore peace in the West Asian region.
