Attacks on Gaza will continue despite ceasefire resolution passed: Israel

The country’s foreign minister said that Israel will attack Gaza despite the ceasefire resolution passed by the UN Security Council.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz said these things in a statement on social media X account on Monday. News from Anadolu.
“Israel will not cease war,” he said. We will destroy Hamas and continue to fight until all prisoners return home.’
The Anadolu report also said that on Monday, the UN Security Council passed a resolution demanding a cease-fire in Gaza during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. This holy month started on March 11 in the Middle East and may end on April 9.
14 countries voted in favor of the resolution presented by the 10 elected members of the Council. On the other hand, the United States was the only country to abstain from voting. In addition, the superpower did not present any argument against the proposal or exercise veto power.
Israel’s UN envoy Gilad Erdan claimed the UN proposal would “undermine efforts to secure” the release of Israeli prisoners from Gaza.
Anadolu says that the UN resolution “calls on all parties to an immediate ceasefire for the holy month of Ramadan.” Which will then lead to a permanent sustainable ceasefire.’
The resolution also called for the “immediate and unconditional release of all detainees as well as ensuring humanitarian access to meet their medical and other humanitarian needs”.
Meanwhile, more than a hundred Palestinians have been killed in the barbaric Israeli attack on the occupied Palestinian territory of Gaza. With this, the total number of people killed in the valley has reached 32 thousand 333 people.
Gaza’s health ministry said in a press statement on Monday that the Israeli army killed 107 Palestinians and injured 176 others in brutal attacks in the past 24 hours.
