Holy Eid-ul-Fitr. The biggest festival of Muslims. After a long month of fasting, there is joy all around in view of this religious festival. But there is an end of the world where only the lamentation of the loss of relatives. The smell of corpses in the air. Blood splattered on the crumbling concrete. Archaeological monuments including mosques, parks, historical buildings have become dusty. Bullets-bombs, hunger now depressed Eid in Gaza. There is no food at home. No new clothes. There is no certainty in life. Gazans will spend a joyless Eid due to Israel’s inhuman torture. Al Jazeera.

It is heartbreaking to witness what is happening in the Gaza Strip. The Zionists have spread grief and pain in Gaza with their diabolical behavior and despicable occupation. There is only famine in the besieged region. Many will spend the Eid day alone after losing their relatives. Yet countless Gazans spend their days hoping for an end to their misery. According to them, the blood of the martyrs will pave the way for liberation from Israel’s barbaric military occupation.

Meanwhile, displaced Palestinians have started returning to the southern city of Khan Younis in the besieged Gaza Strip. Palestinians are returning in droves to the devastated city on Monday. The return began after the Israeli army announced a partial withdrawal from the southern region. The US news agency AP reported the news. Many people in Khan Yunis said that they do not recognize their hometown.

Gaza’s second largest city has been reduced to rubble by the Israeli occupation. Numerous buildings, apartments and commercial establishments have disappeared. Schools and hospitals were damaged. Israeli forces bulldozed the roads. Another displaced person, Najwa Ayash, said he could not go to the third floor of his family’s apartment building. Because there are no stairs. His brother climbed up the rubble and brought some things for the children. Another resident of Basel Abu Nas said, “The city has become a ruined city.” Life has no pulse. They left nothing.’

The government of Iraq has announced to send one million liters of fuel in support of the Palestinian people in the war-torn besieged territory of Gaza. In addition, the Middle East country has also decided to receive injured Palestinians in Gaza and treat them in public and private hospitals.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani announced this on Sunday. In a statement, the Prime Minister of Iraq said that his country will send one million liters of fuel to the residents of Gaza. The more than six-month war has left the Gaza Strip with an acute fuel shortage. Hospitals, water management, bakeries and relief activities there have almost come to a standstill due to lack of fuel. Therefore, Iraq is providing this assistance for the convenience of Palestinian citizens.

On the other hand, more than 300 relief trucks entered the besieged Gaza. Israel made this announcement on Monday. This is the highest number of relief truck arrivals per day since the start of the war. The international community is increasingly pressuring Israel to allow food aid to enter the famine-stricken region. In the meantime, the country announced on Monday the entry of 322 relief trucks into the Palestinian territory. But the number of trucks entering Gaza on Monday is not enough for the region’s millions of starving Palestinians.

In a statement on social media X, Israel’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territory (COGAT) said the relief convoy had 228 trucks carrying food. These trucks are 70 percent of the total number. Al Jazeera’s Tarek Abu Azoum from Rafah said other trucks also passed through the Karem Abu Salem border. This border is known to Israelis as Kerem Shalom. He said most of the vehicles in the convoy carrying humanitarian aid were loaded with water, sugar, flour and other essential items.
