Israeli forces systematically block access to fuel, clean food, water, medical supplies and medicine in occupied Gaza. As a result, Gazans are forced to drink contaminated food and water to save their lives. There is a risk of widespread spread of deadly hepatitis virus across the valley.

Saleh Al-Homs, an official in the Ministry of Health in Gaza, recently claimed this. He said Israel has imposed strict restrictions on the entry of fuel, medical and pharmaceutical supplies into the Gaza Strip.

In such a situation, Saleh Al-Homs called on international organizations to arrange the necessary fuel, medical and medical supplies for the hospitals in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Office for Human Rights (UNHCR) says that the Israeli army is violating the principles of war in Gaza.

UNHCR pointed to the use of weapons and bombs to kill civilians in Gaza, saying Israel does not distinguish between the military and civilians in Gaza. Rather, they are all being killed indiscriminately.

Earlier, the spokesman of the Gaza Health Department, Ashraf Al-Qudra, was referring to the critical situation in the valley, saying that 27,000 people in Gaza have contracted hepatitis due to drinking contaminated food and contaminated water. Israel is actually systematically destroying the health sector in Gaza. The occupying forces attacked almost every hospital in Gaza and completely destroyed several hospitals.

For more than eight months now, Israel has been carrying out terrible massacres in Gaza. At the same time, by preventing the entry of food, water, medicine and fuel across the valley, the Gazans have been pushed into the face of severe famine. About 50,000 children and the elderly are at serious risk of death.

According to the calculations of the Gaza Health Ministry, the number of dead in the Israeli attack on Gaza so far has exceeded 37 thousand 400 and another 86 thousand Palestinians have been injured.
