Iran has taken strong steps to confront Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad. Iran’s Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib said that Mossad agents working in different countries of the world have been identified.

Khatib, who survived the vote of confidence, gave this information to Iran’s parliament on Sunday (August 18). Stating that his ministry is working tirelessly to confront Israel, he said that Mossad agents have been identified in 28 countries so far.

Besides, Khatib highlighted the achievements of his ministry in foiling various conspiracies against Iran. He also said that political, legal and security measures have already been taken against several targets.

After the killings of Iran’s former military officer Qassem Soleimani and former Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, questions have been raised about the country’s intelligence capabilities. In view of this, Khatib has tried to highlight the success story of the Ministry of Intelligence in the Parliament.

It should be noted that the 19 people proposed for the cabinet of Iran’s new president Masoud Pezeshkian are now being debated in the parliament. A vote of confidence in Pezheshkian’s cabinet will be officially held on August 21.
