Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, has warned that occupying Israel has crossed its “last line”.
On Thursday, he addressed his nation on the recent regional situation. At the beginning of the speech, he greeted everyone on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and Islamic Unity Week.
Nasrallah expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the Lebanese citizens who were recently killed in the attack by the Israeli forces and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
He said that the Israeli forces killed many Lebanese citizens by exploding communication devices (pagers) in the last two days. Which has created a huge humanitarian crisis.
Nasrallah at this time praised the national unity of Lebanon and commented that this unity has created a great humanitarian resistance against Israeli aggression. He also thanked the Lebanese government, the Ministry of Health, hospitals and medical workers who continued to treat the injured.
At the same time, he mentioned the support of Iraq, Iran, Syria and other countries, which have helped the Lebanese government.
At this time, Nasrallah warned Israel and said, “Israel has crossed the red line. They carried out the attack on Tuesday by detonating thousands of pagers. Enemies also attacked on Wednesday by detonating similar civilian devices.
However, Nasrallah said Israel’s mission had largely failed and Hezbollah had formed a technical and security committee to investigate the incidents.
“We are facing an enemy that has technological advantages,” he said. Because it has repeatedly received Western support.
Despite such heavy losses, Nasrallah vowed to continue fighting and hinted at strengthening the resistance in the future.
He stressed that even if Tuesday and Wednesday are bloody days, we will overcome this crisis and this trauma will not defeat us.
Nasrallah said, “Our front in support of Gaza has been effective and it has put great pressure on the enemy.” He also said that the Israeli enemy described the events in the north as the first defeat in their history. Which is another proof of the effectiveness of the resistance conducted from Lebanon.
He said the Israeli forces tried to separate the Lebanese front from the Gaza front and put pressure on the Lebanese people and Hezbollah, so that Lebanon stops supporting Gaza. After Tuesday’s killings, we received messages through official and private channels that the attack was aimed at ending our support for Gaza.
Our response to Israel is clear: Lebanon’s armed groups will never stop supporting the oppressed people in Gaza, the West Bank and the Holy Land, the Hezbollah chief asserted.
Nasrallah also noted that the enemies had tried to destroy Hezbollah’s command and control system and spread weakness and confusion among the leaders through the killings on Tuesday and Wednesday. But there was no such confusion or weakness in our leadership even for a moment.
Nasrallah’s speech called on the Lebanese people to stand by Hezbollah more firmly and reflected Hezbollah’s commitment and stability in the face of Israeli aggression.
